FRIDAY JULY 2, 2004
Alumni Bar - Massillon, OH

Another hometown show for all the Slinger crazies. Well....this was a doozie!  From what we've been told by our "DUNETROOPERS", this was our most drunk show to date.  PERFECT!!!  That is a compliment!  And to also hear we have never sounded better...well...I guess the two go hand in hand, right?!? Anyhow,  Injury/nonsense update:  there was a wicked, WICKED microphone shot to Fish's shoulder, ( I had that thing swinging HARD! ),  Neal playing laid out on his back for two songs,  writing a song right there during the show, and a pile of drums, cowbells , lights, and microphones flung to the ground at the shows finale!  And that's most of what I remember.  For those that were there,  I heard it was the GREATEST time ever.  ( Mission accomplished! )   Rock n Roll, drinking, and partying with friends.  When we went to pick up our equipment the next day ( there was NO WAY we were gonna take it home that night! ) we walked into the biggest mess of empty cups, shot glasses,ROCK gear, and the sweet, sweet smell of Fish's BILE!!!!  He decided to wait till the next day to let it loose!!!!  48 hour wastoid period for the Dust Man!  hmmmmm I wonder what....well, nevermind!  The old "I'll never do that again" was echoed throughout the day!!lol  Well, I can go on and on about the FUN we had....my advice would be to see Stoneslinger whenever you can cuz you never know what is going to happen!  Aside from an exceptional time had by ALL!!!!!  That's it from great 'ol Massillon, OH....See ya in NY! -Wolf

SUNDAY MAY 30, 2004
Sadie Rene's - North Canton, OH

Good 'ol hometown show.  The local folks usually receive a mind-blowing Stoneslinger performance each time we swing through our stomping grounds!  It was quite the drinking fest to celebrate our veterans who made it possible to rock ANY way we want.  So needless to say our up and coming "single", Rock n Roll General was for the boys on this Memorial Day.  The harmonica she was a blowin'!!!!!!!  The whole evening was cool as hell. (from what I can remember!)  Fish only tried to plow me over once.  I kept my balance this time!  Did my best Roger Daltry impersonation on a stage with about an 8 foot high ceiling.  Learned right away that it's not enough room!  CLUNK!!!  Dent number 2 in the new mic!!!!!!  Bounced off some lights and on to the floor.  Loved watching Neal get up in the front row of faces and getting them to rock with us like NO other band can.  Like the first time he did it in New York last summer...Andy can keep us groovin' while he's boozin'!!!!!!!!  We'll have to get streaming video for all to see!  Impressive!  We performed for our hometowners for a good hour and a half while entertaining, HAVING FUN, beating cowbells, drinking beer, slamming drums, drinking beer, plucking geeeetars, pounding bass, drinking beer, and drinking beer!  HOME SWEET HOME! -Wolf

SUNDAY MAY 23, 2004
Peabodys - Cleveland, OH
(2004 Cleveland Music Festival)

We performed in one of the prime slots on the night of "closing ceremonies" of the 2004 Cleveland Music Festival.  Played a swift 30 minutes...but a swift kick in the ass of pure rock n roll!  Need I mention that we had a great time!?!  I think the crowd was sort of stunned by our performance.  A lot of staring....but staring means we have TOTAL control of the minds that be!  Or something like that!!!!!  Broken equipment report:  1 microphone stand.  Beaten to death.  It happens.  Salvaged the mic though!  Only one dent.  Not too much to report from C-town this time.  Just loud, fuzzed out, drumming thunder, bass beatin, microphone swingin, guitar slingin, hair hangin, beards slammin, rock n f'n roll!  As usual....... -Wolf

SATURDAY MAY 8, 2004
Mango's Club - Alliance, Ohio

Wheeeeeeew....got through the first song O.K. and then.............BLAM! Bye bye speakers and moniters!!! I guess I have to cut back on my "howling"! So it's the second song ( 80 inches ) and I lose all moniters and front mains. Oh well!!! The boys played the very first instrumental version of the tune as I proceded to down a brew and slam a few cowbells around! The problem never got fully solved but finally we ended up having some main speaker power but no moniters, so................I pulled the 'ol cigarette butts in the ears trick so that I could hear myself in my head! Needless to say we still ROCKED and we still had a great time. Cool place to play...just need to hire different sound guys! Next time it's the "Cowbell Symphany" for an hour!!!! That's it from Alliance, OH...check back soon...peace - -Wolf

FRIDAY APRIL 23, 2004
HI FI CLUB - Lakewood, Ohio

We entered the Hi Fi Club in Cleveland for our first show at this particular venue and ,as usual, had a BLAST. Cool place to play with GREAT stage sound and awesome lights AND FOG!!!!! Always a plus!
By the time we take the stage we're all...feeling "fine" and ready to rock! Fish disappeared for a good half hour when we first got there...hmmmmmmmmm! Let's just say he "flew" onto the stage like a hawk! Andy tore the hell out of the drums again I only hit Neal twice with my mike stand! I think that's a new low. It's usually like 7 or 8! Always good to have a drum riser to "utilize" also.
All in all it was a great, great time performing for the people of Cleveland. See ya next show...........-Wolf
